Most people will always go for the best and in computer technology its no different. Sometimes the very best is usually expensive. For people using graphics cards, they will want to have something that is extremely clear and compatible with the computer.
Many outlets selling graphics cards will say anything in order to sell their stock. Nowadays most computer users have monitors with a very high resolution, so logically they will need to use an expensive graphics card that will need to be, but these cards can also be extremely strong to handle the needs of the PC user.
Here is a list of the most expensive graphics cards, the most expensive at the top downwards.
1. GTX Titan Z – $3,000
Nvidia calls this their “most powerful graphics card ever,” and is available on Amazon, NCIX and TigerDirect. But only America has access to the graphics card, other countries do not.
The card features a dual GPU system which is tuned to run at the same speed a dynamic balance of power. It has over 12GB memory capacity, 5760 CUDA cores which helps developers fully use the GPU for a wide variety of functions, and 5,760 cores.
There is also a much larger cooling chamber to stabilize the graphics card’s interior temperature so it doesn’t overheat. The graphics card has been likened to a small supercomputer, and it should take every computer game available – no problem.
During its launch it was promised to be able to handle not just computer games, but also more scientific and engineering pursuits; machine learning, software development, and for editing photographs and videos.
2. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti – $1,368.30
One of the most powerful graphics cards available on the market that you can buy which interfaces with games with an RTX function. It has an extremely high FPS 4K which provides a lot for games for one card and is compatible with USB.
The only downsides to using it is the card itself is extremely expensive, which isn’t a surprise given the features, and the card supports only a few ray-tracing supported games. But it is still more powerful than its predecessor. It has over 11GB of memory, supporting 4,352 stream processors.
3. GTX Titan – $1,099
Although it is slightly less expensive than its successor, the Titan is not obsolete. It is also available on the worldwide market. It’s features are still top of the range, featuring 6GB in its RAM though it is possible to boost the memory capacity to 12GB, giving them an extremely powerful storage facility allowing their users to enjoy their games in high resolution. NVIDIA has collected many awards over the years with their graphics cards, and the Titan is no exception.
4. AMD R9 290X – $749
Although the price is lower than the GTX Titan and the other models on this list currently, this particular graphics card is generally seen as the best for gaming performance. It has a slightly lower memory capacity, only 4GB. It was mostly designed for crypto-currency, allowing it to be powerful enough for other functions as well as for gaming.
5. GTX 780 Ti – $680
NVIDIA are the masters of creating high-quality and highly expensive graphics cards, and the GTX 780 Ti seems to be unique in that the designers of this particular card was armed with high frequencies.
The graphics card has a memory configuration of 3072MB with 2880 CUDA cores, but the NVIDIA company has come up with a new technology to boost the GPU to allow game players to push the performance of their computers while the boost works with more complex controls such as temperature and how much power goes into it to ensure it works at top efficiency without it getting damaged.
6. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 – $416.99
NVIDIA has received many complaints due to the pricing of its graphics cards and their other products. The introduction of this particular model soothed those complaints.
The RTX 2060 model is designed to allow users the ability to run anything at 1080p, but it can also run at 1440p, reaching to 4K. The RTX 2060 has over 1,920 stream processors while it has a memory of 6GB.
7. Gigabyte Radeon R9 295X2 – $362.57
Although some people have issues with this graphics card, they find the 4K performance capacity to be impressive. With its fan cooled ability, the card packs a great deal of power. It has easily adjustable systems such as the memory clock, the fan, while it can easily support multiple users at the same time while it has 8GB of memory.
8. NVidiaG-Force GTX 770 – $220
Launched in 2013 and designed for smooth gaming performance at extremely high-speed, with 1536 CUDA cores, the GTX 770’s speed is amazing. However, its memory capacity is only at 2GB, so it will only support perhaps only a few games. But…. it can be boosted with NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 which boosts performance and also controls how much power goes into the card without the card burning itself out.
9. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. – $168.29
Granting a great 1080p performance with a fantastic potential for overclocking, this well-designed card has only 4GB, but its still pretty powerful with its 768 stream performers. The price may be high or quite low, depending on your point of view, but the strong GPU can play eSport games and others above 60fps.
10. NVidiaG-Force GTX 750 Ti – $100
Last but certainly not least, the graphics card where gaming begins and the need for speed starts, the GTX 750 Ti was one of the first cards on the market with a Maxwell graphics tech and while it may be less expensive than the others on the list above, this particular model has a speed which is still exceptional.
Featuring a memory capacity of 2GB and over 640 cores, the graphics card has an amazing performance capacity per watt it uses for power though it needs a lower power capacity than most, the GTX 750 Ti is more heat efficient than other graphics cards, featuring a slim design. One of the biggest downsides to this graphics card is it doesn’t feature any extra display outputs.
